Nashieli González Pacheco studied Communication at Universidad Iberoamericana and specialized in environmental issues.
With over 18 years experience in the environmental area, her extensive experience includes different sectors of society: civil society organizations, federal and local governments, international organizations, private sector and schools, amongst other areas. She has developed communication strategies, built public relations plans, done research, training, creation of content for publications and educational materials, designed social responsibility strategies and led teams to perform specific objectives regarding sustainability in a variety of organizations.
Her passion for teaching led her to pursue a master's degree in education and communication. She has taught at various universities, including: Universidad Iberoamericana, Universidad Panamericana and Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey.
She currently runs the communication component of the Eco Valor project, sponsored by the German government through the GIZ, in coordination with the Mexican government, represented by the National Commission of National Protected Areas (CONANP), in a team integrated by Eco Consult and WWF.
